The touching tale of 98-year-old Ada Keating and her 80-year-old son Tom has captured the hearts of many around the world.
Ada, from England, became a mother at a young age. She was just 18 when Tom was born, and the two have shared a special, close bond ever since.
When Tom’s health necessitated a move to a nursing home, Ada visited him every single day. However, after a year of daily visits, Ada decided that being near her son wasn’t enough. She wanted to live with him, so she asked to move into the same nursing home.
A Mother’s Love Knows No Bounds
Despite being 98 years old, Ada didn’t need to move into a nursing home due to health reasons. Her health is excellent. As she told the Liverpool Echo.
“You never stop being a mom.”
Ada now gets to say goodnight to her son every evening and good morning every day.

The staff at Moss View nursing home in Liverpool are touched by the close relationship between Ada and Tom. They spend their days together, playing games and watching TV. The bond between mother and son is evident and heartwarming to all who witness it.
When asked by the Liverpool Echo how he feels about his mother moving in, Tom responded with a touch of humor:
“She looks after me very well. She keeps me in line and tells me off when I’m not behaving!”
