Australian woman Amber Luke has spent more than $170,000 transforming her body with tattoos and extreme modifications. Now, photos from before her transformation are going viral — and people are stunned.
She’s now known as one of the most tattooed women in the world.
From ordinary teen to full transformation
Amber’s journey began at just 16 years old, when she got her first tattoo out of curiosity.
But what started as a small step quickly turned into something much bigger.
By the time she was 20, she had set a clear goal:
She wanted a full-body tattoo suit.
Today, around 98% of her body is covered in ink.

The most extreme procedure
While her tattoos alone are striking, one decision has shocked people the most.
Amber chose to tattoo her eyeballs blue — a procedure known to be extremely risky.
“If you move or blink while the needle is in your eye, you can go permanently blind,” she has said to The Sun.

Lost her vision for weeks
The first time she underwent the procedure, something went wrong.
She described the pain as the most intense she had ever experienced.
The consequences were serious.
“I was blind for three weeks,” she revealed.

Despite the traumatic experience, she later chose to have the procedure done again — this time with a different artist.
A warning to others
Although Amber says she is happy with how she looks today, her story has also become a cautionary tale.
Experts have warned against such extreme modifications, and others who have tried similar procedures have suffered serious complications.

“I don’t regret it”
For Amber, the transformation is about more than appearance.
It’s also about pushing her own limits.

“For me, it’s about showing how much I can endure,” she has said.
Now, as her old photos resurface online, many people are struggling to believe it’s the same person.
